The New Redwing Generation

We are happy to have been joined by Alex Clark.

Our principal instructor, Alex, is a young enthusiastic horsewoman of exceptional talent. She started to ride at Redwing when she was five. She studied equine management at Clinterty College and went on to gain experience in riding, schooling and teaching in different yards before coming back to Redwing. She is never happier than when she is working with horses and her cheerful personality makes her popular with our clients as well as with our horses.

Our original horses are mostly retired and living happily at Blaikiewell Animal Sanctuary, which we founded and support. We have now introduced a young generation of horses. First to arrive as a two-year-old in 2003, was Dougal, a charming young Highland Pony who has grown up to be an asset to the school. He was joined in March 2004 by Serenade,a gentle young Welsh Cob mare.

In June 2004 we added Kaedie, a gentle ten-year-old 16.3 hh grey mare, Hamish, a steady seven-year-old piebald cob, Molly, an experienced 16-year-old Highland Pony mare and Holly a five-year-old Quarter-horse/Thoroughbred mare.
